The Jonathan offers sheltered arrival under a covered front porch and
entry through a center hall foyer that opens to the expansive gathering
place where kitchen, great room and dining nook come together. With abundant
insulated, Low-E glass along rear and side-walls, this space will be bathed
in cheery sunlight. With the Jonathan model, the two-car garage that is
included with each Orchard home is enlarged to accommodate additional
workshop or storage space.
The Jonathan model locates the master bedroom suite, including his and
her walk-in closets, on the same floor as bed and bathrooms for children
or guests. Some will prefer the second-floor master suite location for
its compelling views from a well-elevated home site. The second floor
can be further expanded by an additional 320 square feet with optional
bonus space located above the two-car garage. Finished bonus space readily
lends itself to home office, children's play area, exercise room, crafts
room or a fourth bedroom.
The Jonathan includes a partial, unfinished basement for mechanical equipment,
storage and workshop. This space can be expanded and/or finished, allowing
for a home office, recreation or game room, exercise room, or any combination.
